Give me the end of the year an' its fun

When most of the plannin' an' toilin' is done;

Bring all the wanderers home to the nest,

Let me sit down with the ones I love best,

Hear the old voices still ringin' with song,

See the old faces unblemished by wrong,

See the old table with all of its chairs

An' I'll put soul in my Thanksgivin' prayers.

Terri,

Thanks for dropping by my Old Pump story. Your comments were very much appreciated. I love writing the stories of my childhood and the words just seem to flow, but I have to be inspired to write them. I haven't written one for a long time. Glad you enjoyed it.

Blessings,
Mary

Humm...I was 70%. Is that good or bad? I actually turned off my computer today from 10am to 1:30pm as I think I am on here far too much. I am trying to cut back on my computer time but it is tough. I love all of my online friends too much!

Hugs ~
