Everything I ever wanted

Several years ago my husband and I bought a self-improvement course on audio tape. One of the first things we were asked to do was write down a list of "Everything I Ever Wanted". It could be anything, no matter how wild it seemed to be.
We were younger and poorer and the list was long and varied. But over the years many of those wants have come true. We've been very happy and very blessed.
But there comes the point in life where you look around and say "now what?" And I have reached that point.
So, I am writing out a new list. I don't really want a lot of "stuff", but there are lots of things I would like to learn and to see and do.
The idea is to write the list and then one by one list the steps one needs to take to make the dream a reality. The more specific the "dream" the more specific the steps the more likely one can make the dream icome true.
It's a challenge really just to figure out what specifically I want. Then again, it's rather fun. You should try it.

I, too, am a SAHM, but I just turned 53! I think it is great that you are trying to try new things in your life. A little over 2 years ago, i needed to lose 40#. Took it one day at a time, started doing the South Beacxh diet, walking every day, then walking/running, and slowly the 40# came off. I struggle to keep it off, that is for sure, but I take it one day at a time. I learned to knit last year, ran 2 5k's, am taking French lessons, and Lord knows what else! Be encouraged. And stay with it. You will be victorious!!!
