A Charity Close To My Heart

I was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate. I was blessed with terrific surgeons and have no real disabilities from the birth defect, but many are not so lucky.
Medical advances have made the once difficult repair work fairly simple. But there are many poor people who cannot afford the surgery for their children and that is heart breaking.
Imagine a child who not only looks deformed, but cannot eat, speak or breath normally. Imagine the impossibility of living a normal life like that. Now imagine the only thing separating that child from receiving the medical care they need is $240. That is a sin.
If you can help, I hope you will. Every child deserves a chance at a happy healthy life. And $240 is a very small price to pay to help assure that.

Thanks and God bless.
