Dying things....

I LOVE going to thrift stores a flea markets. I have a ball going through everything and finding "treasures". Something I'm new to, though, is taking old clothes and altering them. This includes sewing and dying things to change their look and fit. Check out this book:

I was so excited, I went to the Rit dye site:

And read about dying my hair with Henna. (No harsh chemicals close to my already questionably working brain cells! LOL) So, yesterday I tried it out. I learned that 45 minutes is too long to leave it on my hair! I look a little like Ronald McDonald's mommy!

Joe saw it and said, "Are you going to dye it again and change it?"

I said, " No. It will fade out in 4 weeks or so."

He shook his head as he walked away saying, "Well, I love you anyway...." LOL LOL!
