Did I mention we have a small pond in the back yard?

As you can see it needs some work, but I was tickled to find that we have a small pond in our new back yard. I am thinking it will have to be moved, because I want to use my angel statue (which was originally a fountain, but when we left Chicago the bottom was frozen to the ground and we were forced to leave it behind) with it and I don't want that statue right up against the house.

My friend Diane and her husband have a pond in their garden that they have fussed with and worked on for the last couple of years and it is just gorgeous! I'll have to go look at the pictures she has sent me and see if I can steal...er, I mean incorporate some of their ideas to use in my little oasis!
