The New Babies Are Here!!!

This morning (after my stop at Curves) I went to the local post office and low and behold, my chicks had come! I ordered 1 rooster and 8 hens. And I got them. Along with 13 other "freebies" who's sole purpose was providing body heat.
Now the problem isn't in finding someone willing to take these extras off my hand. The problem lies in giving them up! I mean, look at this face! Hard to resist, isn't it?
I will have Joe ask at work and then I'll ask a neighbor that I know would love some chicks, but if they don't go fast...they may not go at all ....and that could be problematic. What if they're all roosters? That would be about my luck! LOL.

Oh my goodness, I'm so jealous! ;0) Your chicks are the cutest things and I've always wanted to raise some!! They are illegal in our city plus Phillip says no! LOL Enjoy them for me and please share more pictures of them growing up!!

What a CUTIE!!! I am in love. Wish I could take the freebies but I don't think they would like a trip to Holland Terri! You are a lucky girl to have such a fun new addition to the family and I say keep them all. ;-)
