I remember buying glasses like this for a dime at the Goodwill, because they were too geeky for anyone to wear. Today I was at the eye doctor and they wanted $175 for frames like these!!! I am just ahead of my time!!!!LOL
Once, in the 7th grade, I had my hair pulled back with a rubber band when I fell asleep. When I woke up my hair was hopelessly tangled in the band, so I took a sissors and cut it out. I cut out big chunk of hair on the side of my head too! So, I cut the otherside to match and just brushed it back. Within weeks EVERYBODY had those brush back "wings".
I may look like a boring old housewife, but in reality I am a fashion trend setter!
P.S. Lisa, that includes those knit boots. SO THERE.

I had to buy glasses for the first time a few years ago and couldn't believe the prices for lenses!

I buy my reading glasses at the dollar store...that way I can have several pairs...one in almost every room (and one around my neck). I never thought I'd wear them on a chain (seems very old-ladyish) but that way I can always find them :)
I don't usually start seeds, just tuberous begonias, although I may start some marigolds this year. Yes, it's a bit early! I know, it's hard to wait :)
I just bought new glasses and have to admit they're a little retro looking, just like these! LOL!
