A Solstice Wish

On the darkest night of the year, take a five inch square of parchment paper and write on it in red ink the word that best represents the trait you wish to have born in yourself when the sun is reborn. Gather three leaves of holly and place them in the center of the paper. Fold the paper closed with the holly inside. Light the wick of a red candle, and light your paper from its flame. As it burns, your wish will be fulfilled. Save your candle for the next year's wish.
