Oh, come on now! Friday the 13th is not that bad

And to prove it, I am giving away a copy of Victoria 500 Christmas Ideas: Celebrate the Season in Splendor by Kimberly Meisner, just in time for the holidays! You leave a comment and next Friday I will enter all the names in a hat and draw one. Sound like a plan?
Joe went and bought the "family" Christmas gift today and while we were out we had lunch at a wonderful Indian restaurant. Gee I like it when he's home! I get treated so well! LOL
We had a beautiful, sunny day here in Western NY. So strange (in a good way) for November! I hear that sometime tomorrow we will get some of the rain that has been pelting the east coast all week. Sounds like it will be a good day to work around the house. There is always something to do around an old house, that's for sure!
I hear the Harley pulling in. The daddy and his best girl are back from their ride, so I had better get some supper on the table. Have a wonderful evening and don't forget to leave a comment so I can enter you in the drawing! Good luck!

Personally, I love Friday the 13th. My eldest was born on Friday the 13th and sometimes my birthday is on that date too. It's a happy day.

That book looks amazing. Thanks for being so generous! :)

I was so happy to see your comment on my blog. I am in Canada right now and the weather has been sunny but chilly. We go back to Ohio tomorrow. Have a good weekend.

Friday the 13th? Hmm, I don't have a black cat, and didn't go near a ladder, didn't look in a mirror, so it didn't break..guess I'm safe today. Looks like a great book..what kind of ideas have you gleaned from it?

Friday the 13th has always been a good day for me too. I think that book should be mine 'cause I'm busily Christmas crafting away and could always use more ideas. LOL!
Hope you guys are having a great weekend! I've got a fire crackling, Riff's home, but out hunting, and I'm knitting with a delightful cuppa next to me!

I'm not superstitious, so Friday the 13th does not bother me.

Just throw away Lisa's entry and put two in for me. Oh, I forgot, must have missed Friday 13th and not even a horror movie.
