Guess Who's moving to town?

The Strong Museum in Rochester is a wonderful children'smuseum. We visited there frequently when the children were small. Today I learned that the Johnny Gruelle's granddaughter and her husband are closing the museum they opened a decade ago and many of the wonderful treasures there in are coming to the Strong museum.
I read all the Raggedy Ann books when I was younger and I loved them so. I gave my own daughter all of my old books and found a few others and she has read and enjoyed them all as well. Maybe we'll have to go welcome our old friends to town when they get here.
There's nothing quiet like meeting up with old friends after being apartnfor awhile. I can't wait to see them again!

I love Raggedy Ann and Andy, what town will the museum be in. How great that you will be nearby. Let us know if it is good.

Raddegy Ann and Andy were a big part of our childhood. My sister always kept her raggedy ol' Raddedy Ann. Childhood memories are the best!

What great memories they'll bring back when you see it all again. How fun!

I love Raggedy Ann and Andy also. I still have my Ann doll from when I was a tiny girl. She is much worse for the wear, so I keep her put away right now. Lots of stories go along with that sweet doll.

Oh Terri, how wonderful. That little picture you are showing is just adorable. I bet there is a lot of history to go with the doll's themselves. You will have to tell us all about the new museum.
