today I am planting some garlic cloves on the south side of the house. I know that I should have done this a couple weeks ago, but honestly, I just forgot! Still, I think it should work out, especially if a mulch it really well. 
Garlic is weird in that you plant it in fall and harvest in spring. It is easy to
dry, store and use and on top of all that I am dying to see if I can do that
braid thing....you know
I'm already planning my next year's garden and I think the garlic will be a great beginning!
