on an annual basis. The kids "celebrate" the end of school by doing very weird things to their hair. Daddy is not thrilled, but it will grow out....eventually.
My older boys have out grown this phase and the girl hasn't asked yet. So it's only the two this year.
I figure they should be allowed to assert their individuality...with in acceptable social limits...so this is our compromise. They're happy. Daddy will be happy (in about 6 weeks when it all grows out). And I am "the best". That, my friends is a quote from my boys....

What a hoot!! I can see that Bill would not be thrilled but Dan did some odd things at that age...heck. He still does!! *laugh*
I loved your pictures from the botanical gardens...I love such places.
Love,
Sue
It could be much worse. Tell them to jump into that pool alot, and the color will all wash out soon.
LOL.
Nancy
that is a neat tradition to end the school year...and at least it isn't permanent! :)
Hey Terri: Thanks for stopping by Meggie's Stuff recently and leaving a comment about my tractor. I've been away for 5 days so please excuse me for taking so long to respond. I LOVE your post about the boys and their hair color. I worked in a middle school for 32 years...you're right, they need to express themselves. It's harmless! Even cute!! I can't imagine caring for 5 children as you do...where do you find the time?! I'll stop by again real soon. Have a great weekend!
HI terri! Thanks for popping by! The granola bars are just awsome!!! They are really nice & gooey and wrap up neatly in saran wrap, i take them to work at michaels with me in my bag for my break!
Hello Terri.you left a little note a few weeks ago on The Dutchess,so i would like to say thank you for enjoying my blog and..its very nice to meet you and your lovely family..greets from Holland!
Happy childhood :-)
Marta played in a soccer tournament yesterday and everyone in her team played with pink hair.
Hi Terri!
Thanks for visiting my blog! Your kids look cool. We all need to unwind after the school year, and what a great way to do it, with a new hair color!
Doesn't hurt a thing and they had a bunch of fun doing it. The daddy at our house always harumphs around when something like that goes on, too! I think they look cute and it'll all be gone when school starts again!
