The desk is finished, in place and in use. it took me most of
yesterday to set it up (you know how that goes: you move
the furniture so you vaccuum. Then you figure since the
space is cleared out you might as well run the carpet
cleaner...it's a vicious cycle really). Not, perhaps the most
glamourous of desks but it's sweet and it suits me and it
was free! (My favorite part! LOL)
Today's project was to paper the stairs from the
dining room to the living room. I got this fabulous
plaid wallpaper on ebay. I LOVE IT!
It the love is in the details, we're going to have a very loving
home before too much longer!
Now, I have to go make a sock monkey....it's a long story.
Pictures to follow!

Was it you wallpapering your stairs...couldn't have been unless I can see into the future. (I was telling Melissa at The Inspired Room that I had seen this somewhere on my travels.)
It looks great. Such a good idea to jazz up stairs without stenciling.
Oh yes, baking is ministry no doubt about it! ;>
Thanks for visiting today!
Thanks for coming by to visit. Love to make new friends.
Very nice desk you have now. Mine is covered with scrapbooking things and sort of a catch all right now. The good thing is, it is in my sewing room so only I see it. LOL.
Very nice. You home is going to be gorgeous when you have made all the personal changes.
Enjoyed my visit. The mother hen quiz was fun as well.
Blessings,
Mary

Terri, I love your dining room, the stairs, and your desk. Just looking at these makes me feel that your home is very welcoming. I wish I had just a little bit of your creative ideas.

Terri,
Love the stairs! Gosh and with all those lines to get straight...turned out beautifully!
And you desk is so sweet with that little ruffle around the edge and the nice glass on top to keep it all neat and clean.
Melissa
Your desk looks great! And I love that little Boston Terrier lying on the floor next to it!!!
I want to see the sock monkey!!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I have never heard of papering the stairs let alone seen it...this is a fascinating concept to me...I'm going to have to google it and probably realize it's way more popular than I realized!!! I love that little desk!
Yes, our dogs are English Springer Spaniels, they're lovely and cute dogs.
WOW, I just love your stairs!!!!!
Your house is looking gorgious.
What a great idea!! I love that paper too and you did a super job. I have been trying to get the nerve up to paper the back of my cabinets...: )
