Of course, there's no art work hung yet, but we are already loving this living room. The red can only be discribed as LUCIOUS! I was going to pull the white carpeting, but I may let that wait and just buy an area rug to cover the high traffic areas. I have to say that this room just looks so rich, yet so inviting and comfortable and I am highly pleased with how it's turning out. What do you think?

I love both rooms. It looks to me as though you've found a home you'll absolutely love. Please continue to post pictures. These are great. I also love that red living room and think your idea of having area rugs in the high traffic areas is ideal. With wood floors or darker carpet, the room might feel too dark. The game room must be wonderful for the kids and their friends. I'm so glad you posted these.

I love the color! I have an ox blood red wall in my living room. Good idea to leave the carpet for the time being. You can always change it later on if it does get too bad with kids in the house. And area rugs are a great idea.
