Busy evening....


I finished canning the Venison last night. That's a total of 8 qts. It is very nice to have on hand when you're running late and forgot to take something out for supper.
I also made an apple pie. It seems Gilli's class is learning about fractions. To do this, they need pies. Wish my 3rd grade teacher had thought of this!

My sil canned lots of pork tenderloin and boy does it ever come in handy for an easy, delicious quick meal. I bet your deer is very tender fixed that way too.
