Our youngest son has been struggling in school the last few years. Diagnosed 2004 with ADD and learning disabilities my clever, beautiful boy who used to cry on Saturday because there was no school had begun hating school and thinking he was dumb. It made my heart sick.
Finally though we seem to have found the right combination of effective therapies. He came home yesterday with a report card of all As and Bs!!!!!!!
To celebrate, he gets to have his friend Christina spend the weekend and he got to go with mom and dad to play golf yesterday.
We love you Matty and are so proud of all your hard work!!! Keep it up kiddo!

We are having similar issues with my grandson, 7, who is in our custody. The DR. put him on Straterra a few weeks ago...nothing. Increased the dose...still nothing. Put him on the lowest dose of ritalin, which we started yesterday. One dose with breakfast, another at lunch. He did not stop talking ALL DAY... and was up past 1:30 AM...still wide awake! Something has got to change!
Hooray for Matty. That is super. I bet he will work even harder to go play golf again too. LOL. That was just the best.
Congratulations to Matty and to his parents, too!! What a great job. I'll just bet he's going to look forward to school again just like he did before. What great news!
